It’s official, the 2013 Beartrap Summer Festival is in the history books - and while most of our mountain moments this year were of the fun variety, there were a few tense ones on Sunday backstage that were downright scary.

Sunday night headliner and 2013 Beartrap Summer Festival closing act, Sam Bush, showcases why he is known as "The King Of Telluride". Bush has been honored by the Americana Music Association and the International Bluegrass Music Association. Bush proved that he deserves every bit of recognition that he has gotten, and will continue to get.

The Irish-American group, Solas, gave a superlative performance at the 2013 Beartrap Summer Festival. The impassioned group told many tales through their songs giving insight to times that have come and gone, and issues of today. Solas gives much heart and soul the world of Celtic music today.

Gaelic for “light” – Solas was a shining beacon on the stage of the 2013 Beartrap Summer Festival. The Irish-American quintet gave one of the most passionate performances of the weekend. The folks in Beartrap Meadow received a healthy dose of Celtic influence this Sunday afternoon, and they couldn't be more happy about it.

The quintet, Run Boy Run, gave a delightful performance, much to the acclaim of the audience. Stunning vocals and award winning fiddling made Run Boy Run a stand out at the 2013 Beartrap Summer Festival, in very commendable way.

Run Boy Run from Arizona took the stage at the 2013 Beartrap Summer Festival to give festival goers a taste of their dynamic and orchestral sound. This very tight group gave an outstanding performance and left the audience in a high state of reverence.

One of the most unique bands on the Sunday lineup, Screen Door Porch showed off their own brand of Americana, Roots-Rock and Country-Blues. I remember hearing them cover a Radiohead song, which I was excited about. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get the camera up in time to capture it. Nonetheless, Screen Door Porch put on an awesome performance for the Sunday audience.

For those who do not remember, Screen Door Porch graced the stage last year at the Beartrap Summer Festival. One year later, they have returned to the meadow to show off what they have been working on since last year's festival, and they did not disappoint.
